Job Title: Robotic Welder

Job Description

This position involves operating a robotic welding machine and overseeing the entire department. The role requires fixing robotic welds from start to finish, starting with receiving a blueprint and making the part to specifications.

ResponsibilitiesFixing robotic welds from start to finish.Receiving a blueprint and making the part to specifications.Applying TAC welds on the part.Loading a 2-inch metal plate onto the robotic weld machine.Using a TeachPendent controller to instruct the robot.Ensuring the part meets quality standards and obtaining supervisor approval.Running production shifts, producing 100-200 parts per order, and completing 1-2 orders per day.Operating a Genesis Robot with a Lincoln head.Performing other tasks throughout the plant when not running the robot.Essential SkillsPrevious experience operating a robot.Ability to read a blueprint.MIG welding.Experience with MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Robotic welding experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding.Proficiency in robotic welding, especially with Genesis Robots.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The shop has 40 people and makes custom parts for the agricultural industry. You will be in charge of one robotic welder. The shift is from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toe shoes.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
