Job Title: Robotic Weld Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Robotic Weld Technician responsible for performing daily testing and application of new or modified welding processes, equipment, procedures, and techniques. You will maintain safe operation of the equipment while ensuring product quality and achieving outstanding results.

ResponsibilitiesSet up work stations for production by performing required duties on machinery, tools, and materials. This may include set-ups for robotic cells and other computer-aided configurations.Adjust equipment and change welding fixtures as necessary to ensure quality welding.Detect non-conforming products and take corrective actions.Facilitate training sessions in welding, robotics, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for internal employees as needed.Respond to any other reasonable requests made by management.Essential SkillsExperience in robotic welding, welding, and blueprint reading.Proficiency in robot programming with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a robotic weld technician.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with robots and welding processes.Mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Panasonic welding machines and familiarity with the automotive industry.Experience in MIG or TIG welding.Why Work Here

Work Environment

Join a full-service Tier 2 organization operating out of 480,000 square feet across four facilities in Canada and the United States. As an automotive parts manufacturer, the environment can be loud and warm during the summer, but remains tolerable. The team includes 30 people on day shift, 16 on afternoon shift, and 11 on night shift. No uniform is required for temporary employees, but steel-toed boots are mandatory. Work shifts are Monday to Friday, with day shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, afternoon shifts from 3pm to 11pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
