Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer – Data & IT
Job Description
+ Support **Light-Off Automation** initiatives, including basic monitoring, alerts, and readiness checks.
+ Assist in developing and maintaining **RPA workflows** to support daily operations.
+ Work with factory and system data such as **logs, alarms, and simple trend data** .
+ Support **IT system integration** , including data flow checks, access setup, and simple scripting tasks.
+ Collaborate with engineers to **improve and standardize automation processes** .
+ Prepare documentation and help build **reusable automation templates** for team use.
+ Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities related to automation.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in **IT, Computer Science, Data, Software, or Engineering-related fields** .
+ Basic understanding of **data handling** (Excel, simple SQL queries, logs, or tables).
+ Exposure to **RPA tools** (e.g. Power Automate or similar) through coursework, projects, or internships.
+ Basic programming or scripting knowledge such as **Python, C#, VBA, or PowerShell** .
+ Interest in **manufacturing systems** (e.g. MES, alarms, logs) — prior experience is a plus but not required.
+ Basic knowledge of **APIs or web services** is an advantage.
+ Familiarity with **dashboards or reporting tools** (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
+ Willingness to learn, good problem-solving skills, and a strong interest in **automation and digitalization** .
Additional Information
You will support Renesas Smart Factory initiatives focused on **Light-Off production and “Everyone RPA” adoption** .
This role works with **data, IT systems, and automation tools** to reduce manual work, improve system readiness, and enable scalable automation across departments.
Suitable for **fresh graduates** with strong interest in data, IT, and automation.
