**Job Title: Mechanical Installer II**
**Job Description**
The Installer II position is a technical role suited for individuals who are mechanically inclined and have experience with hand and power tools. This role involves the installation of machinery such as robotic arms and sub-stations, with most work conducted on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels. The role requires versatility, as tasks range from using power tools to cleaning the warehouse and assembling robotic components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install 20 robotic arms and approximately 40 sub-stations.
+ Set up internal site fencing.
+ Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.
+ Follow detailed instructions for installation processes.
+ Run wiring for power supplies.
+ Perform general installation labor, including moderate to heavy lifting and material handling.
+ Utilize pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalog materials.
+ Assist project teams with commissioning and cleaning tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently.
+ Experience in machinery or robotics installation.
+ Good attendance and reliability.
+ Capable of working on hard cement floors for 8-hour shifts.
+ Ability to follow directions and work in various positions, from inventory to housekeeping.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must pass specific testing criteria.
+ Willingness to work in a construction environment.
+ Experience with material handling and general labor.
+ Construction and cleaning experience is advantageous.

**Work Environment**
The work is conducted in distribution centers that are under construction, which can be messy, loud, and sometimes crowded. Employees must maintain a presentable and professional demeanor. Required attire includes PPE such as high-visibility vests, glasses, hard hats, gloves, earplugs, and steel-toe shoes or boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose, baggy clothing.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
