**Shift Schedule:**
**3rd Shift:** Sunday night - Friday morning 10:15 PM - 6:15 AM, Overtime as business needs require
**3rd Shift Starting Pay:** $29.38/hour (includes 8% shift premium)
**Job Purpose:** Under general supervision, responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of robotic welding equipment and other duties as assigned. Typically reports to a supervisor.
**As a Robot Technician at Caterpillar, you will:**
+ Follow documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free work and adjustment of components and machines.
+ Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.
+ Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Be able to function as part of a team and be willing to be multi-trained.
+ Be a contributing team member.
+ Perform other related work duties as assigned.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
+ Ability to perform repetitive operations.
+ Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
**Basic Requirements:**
+ Must include a resume to be considered.
+ Requires a mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of fabrication and machining practices.
+ Must have GMAW welding experience.
+ Intermediate proficiency computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Must have effective communication skills.

+ Welding/Weaving Schedules
+ Remastering
+ Macros
+ Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints
+ Complete understanding of welding defects and weld inspection tools
+ Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$27.20 - $33.95
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
