**Job Title: Road Maintenance Foreman** Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Road Maintenance Foreman to lead and supervise crews on highway, street, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in roadwork, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality. This position is open to candidates located anywhere in Eastern Nebraska, with the goal of building a crew in Nebraska around your experience in asphalt and/or concrete repair, particularly in parking lot maintenance. Responsibilities + Supervise daily activities of road construction crews, including laborers, operators, and subcontractors. + Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to meet project schedules. + Interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution. + Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budget targets. + Enforce safety protocols and conduct daily safety meetings. + Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and clients. + Maintain detailed records of work performed, personnel hours, and equipment usage. + Identify and resolve issues on-site to minimize delays and disruptions. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Essential Skills + Strong knowledge of asphalt and concrete repair techniques, materials, and equipment. + Experience with patching, crack filling, and resurfacing procedures. + Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools, such as asphalt cutters, compactors, and mixers. + Proven leadership abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment repairs is a plus. + Electrical experience. + Self-starter. Why Work Here?
