Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement. The RN’s actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworker.
The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited nursing programLicensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered NurseAt least 12 months of RN expeirnece in an acute care or longterm care settingBLS certificationACLS certification required within six months of hireMust be scheduled a minium of 1152 hours per calendar yearMinimum of 12 shifts (144 hours) per a 6 week scheduleWeekend Shift Requirement2 Holiday per year OverviewKettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
