Management for the designated transplant patient population includes independent patient assessment, triage, education, coordination of medical and nursing care, and documentation of care. Integral to the role is an understanding of the regulations and data requirements surrounding transplant care issued from the United Network of Organ Sharing and HRSA. **JOB DESCRIPTION** + Responsible for the nursing care and coordination of the pre-kidney transplant long-term patients, plus the surgical (non-transplant) patient education and surgical prep, as well as multiple clinical procedures on a daily basis. + Nursing Process – Systematically assesses the need for and the delivery of nursing services that meet patient care requirements, whether delivered directly or by the other nursing staff. **SCHEDULE** + Full Time + Day shift + Eight or Ten Hour Shifts **REQUIREMENTS** Two years of professional nursing experience, including clinical nursing expertise in pre kidney transplant patient care.
