We are seeking dedicated Pediatric RNs to provide hands-on, high-quality nursing care to medically fragile and technology-dependent infants, children, and young adults in a supportive, team-based environment.
What You’ll Do as a Pediatric RNAs a Registered Nurse at PSC, you will:
Deliver direct nursing care to residents with complex medical needs
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the highest standards of care

RN Shift Options (12-Hour Shifts)Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Responsibilities
Registered Nurse (Pediatrics)
Screen and provide an in-depth evaluation of the needs of ventilator & respiratory clientsConsult with the attending physician regarding treatment protocol and make written recommendations for interdisciplinary care planning and treatmentInform residents or qualified representative about care and treatment plan and possible outcomes of treatment, or lack of treatment if resident refuses participation in a respiratory rehabilitation programIdentify problems and develop a complete plan of care according to facility/unit policy and federal/state regulationsInitiate ventilator weaning protocol and/or respiratory rehabilitation in accordance with the physician’s orders; maintain required contact with physicianMaintain written records, evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries of residents receiving respiratory treatment and monitoring according to state, federal, and facility policiesAttend, as necessary, and provide input at the Resident Care Planning (RCP) meetings for interdisciplinary team and the Resident/Family Care Plan Review Meeting; complete required documentation after the meetingsRecord resident’s plan of care in the Interdisciplinary Care Plan as required or as neededContribute to the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) within the established time frame and incorporate the results in the plan of care when appropriateConfer with personnel of other departments and provide required training to meet special needs of residents QualificationsRegistered Nurse (Pediatrics)
Valid PA State license/registration to practice as Registered Licensed Nurse (RN) Minimum of two (2) years (RN) nursing experience Associates of Nursing required; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferredPediatric experience strongly preferred Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel requiredQualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others requiredCaring, respectful attitude towards residents requiredThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
