**Job Description** **UW Medical Center-Montlake – Dermatology Clinic** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Per Diem** **Regist** **ered Nurse.** **WORK SCHEDULE** + Per diem schedule / varying hours per week + Must be available to work a mix of 8 hour day shifts and 10 hour day shifts, Monday - Friday + Must be available to work at least 4 shifts each 4 week period **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** Our **Dermatology Clinic** provides comprehensive dermatological care for patients with general and specialized skin conditions. Our services include treatments for hair loss, atypical moles, nail disorders, cutaneous lymphomas, contact dermatitis and rheumatology conditions, and treatment for skin cancers. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Join a state-of-the-art clinic + Provide life-changing care for our patients + Work flexible hours in a position offering work-life balance **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provide care coordination and patient education + Conduct phone triage + Conduct in-basket triage and respond to MyChart and telephone messages + Perform suture removals and wound checks + Provide patient assessment and treatment in the phototherapy unit + Assist with prior authorizations and insurance appeals for specialty medications **REQUIREMENTS** + 2 years of current or recent ambulatory, acute care, or procedural nursing experience + Active licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Washington State + Active BLS **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE** UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
