The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the senior residents are met. Supported by our DHS Nurse and Regional Nurse, plus compassionate resident assistants who are trained to pass medications.

 

This full-time nursing schedule includes;

64 hours every two weeksFlexible! 12-8:30 pm or 3-11 pmEvery other weekend!  and holiday rotationGenerous benefits, including RN student loan repayment and college funds to further your education 


Responsibilities

Implements new and updates current resident care planCoordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as neededHandles and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administrationActs as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled timesMonitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree in Nursingless than 1 year of nursing experienceMN Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Nursing1 year of nursing experiencePrior supervisory experiencePrior experience in home care or an assisted living environment
