What You'll Be Doing Ensures excellent nursing care to adult and geriatric patientsUtilizes the nursing process and caring model in delivery of patient care.Educates patients and family.Promotes patient satisfaction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Includes standing, walking, pushing wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, lifting patient, occasionally must stoop, reach above head, carry medium to light equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: Exposure to communicable diseases,blood and blood products, illness, confused and/or comb ative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, xrays, fluorscopy, sharp instruments, needles, and electricity.
REPORTS TO: Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Charge Nurse or designee
CONTACTS: Patients, Patient’s Family, Visitors, Physicians, Staff and other departmental personnel.
SUPERVISES: Licensed Practical Nurse, Patient Care Partner, and other team members.
What We're Looking ForEDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience preferred
LICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS: Current license to practice professional
nursing in New Jersey. Completes I.V. certification course as per
Hospital policy. Completes CPR certification course as per Hospital
Policy.
