Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement. + Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care + Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel + Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate + Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate + Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems + Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching The Staff RN is a licensed professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. \#RN@DH **Job Requirements** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Current CA RN licensure + One year recent critical care or emergency department experience required (may consider training if current staff skillset and experience allows) + Working knowledge of basic dysrhythmia + Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) + Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing + Advanced dysrhythmia interpretation **Where You'll Work** St. Elizabeth Community Hospital provides state-of-the-art health care to the North State communities.
