$38.20 - $57.30Join our dynamic and collaborative Cardiac Step-Down Unit, a 34-bed progressive care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.
Primary Patient Population (60%):
Cardiac procedural patients (e.g., cardiac catheterization, echocardiograms)Pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgical patientsProgressive care/step-down level monitoring and interventionsSecondary Patient Population (40%):
Cardiology and pulmonology patientsGeneral medical/surgical patients requiring intermediate careResponsibilities:
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and higher acuity patients in the critical care areaMonitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsEducate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing careParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projectsQualifications:
