Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. **Responsibilities** + Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements + Prepare patients pre-procedure and monitor them post-procedure for complications + Assist physicians and the interdisciplinary team during procedures + Administer medications and moderate sedation per hospital protocols + Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status + Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety at all times + Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions + Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record + Participate in on-call rotation as required **Qualifications** **Education:** + Graduate of accredited nursing program.
