**Job Title: Maintenance Technician II** **Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. This role offers the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
+ Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete preventive maintenance sheets.
+ Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Demonstrate electrical knowledge of basic components.
+ Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
+ Track and store departmental inventory, including spare parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2+ years of experience in blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
+ 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
+ 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment systems.
+ 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
+ High school or equivalent diploma.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial industries.
+ Experience performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment.
+ Familiarity with running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
+ Preferred experience with conveyors and other material handling equipment, including controls and robotics.
+ Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Continuous improvement mindset.
+ Willingness to learn and grow.
+ Experience with material handling equipment safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and mostly robotic components. Be comfortable with performance tracking through data and numbers, without micromanagement. The role requires walking approximately 10,000 steps per day and lifting up to 49 lbs at a time. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Round Rock, TX.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $58760.00 - $68432.00/yr.
