**Job Title: RME - Maintenance Technician II**
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment, such as conveyors. This position requires a proactive individual who will complete preventative maintenance routines, perform battery changes, manage work orders, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Responsibilities
+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
+ Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.
+ Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Possess electrical knowledge of basic components and troubleshoot equipment problems.
+ Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2+ years of experience in blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 2+ years of knowledge in electrical and electronic principles.
+ 2+ years of experience in following and demonstrating safety standards.
+ 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
+ 1+ year of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
+ High school or equivalent diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries.
+ Experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
+ Experience with automated conveyor systems.
+ Ability to perform preventative maintenance, hydraulics, schematic, motors, and conveyor systems.
+ Troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Continuous improvement mindset.
+ Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
+ Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
+ Associate or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed, automated, and mostly robotic components. Candidates should be comfortable with performance tracking by data and numbers. The position requires walking approximately 10,000 steps per day and lifting up to 49 lbs. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available across all shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
