The Senior Advisor, Strategy & Financial Analysis will partner with other Supply Chain teams and cross-functional stakeholders to strategize and deliver client-specific rebate modeling and guarantees for new and existing business. These teams include Rebate Analytics, Formulary Consulting, Rebate New Sales and Prospects Modeling, Negotiations, Sales & Account Management (SAM), Underwriting, among others. As a part of this team, the Senior Advisor will work with leadership to identify and drive not only modeling improvements but also overall process improvements in the rebate and Supply Chain areas. Internally recognized and trusted as the clinical rebate modeling subject matter expert along with their clinical sr. advisor peers.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with SAM and Underwriting to assess client financials, rebate strategies, and renewal/market‑check options.
+ Develop and recommend strategic rebate optimization opportunities, considering long‑term impacts.
+ Share best practices and interpret industry drug trends to inform underwriting strategy and support process improvements.
+ Review complex client rebate models and convert key assumptions into concise summaries for leadership and the Pricing Committee.
+ Analyze client data, model scenarios, and provide expert guidance aligned with departmental strategic goals.
+ Custom‑model client‑specific formularies and produce financial projections tailored to each client’s unique design.
+ Partner with Clinical Account Executives to ensure modeling accurately reflects utilization management programs and rebate contract requirements.
+ Work with clinical advisor peers to evaluate the financial impact of client‑requested formulary changes.
+ Collaborate cross‑functionally (Account Management, Pricing, Product, Finance, New Sales) on rebate‑related strategy.
+ Lead interdepartmental calls regarding rebate invoicing terms and eligibility.
+ Create and maintain best practices/SOPs for rebate modeling.
+ Improve work processes to optimize rebate modeling strategies and support department objectives.
+ Mentor Advisors and Lead Analysts to support training and development needs.
+ Contribute to special projects and presentations for rebate modeling teams.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree, Finance, Healthcare, or related area preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D a plus
+ 3+ years of working in the pharmacy environment
+ 1+ years of significant formulary management/development experience
+ Detail Oriented Organizational, and Analytical skills
+ Excellent PC skills – including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access, experience with database
+ Financial modeling experience
+ Familiarity with pharmaceutical rebate contracts a plus
+ Proven ability to work in a fast paced – ever changing environment
+ Excellent relationship building and cross functional skills
+ We will consider qualified candidates who live near our Morris Plains, NJ Memphis, TN or St. Louis, MO offices
