Our newly formed and rapidly expanding Compliance Middle Office (CMO) offers a rare opportunity to help shape the future of our firm’s compliance and quality framework. As a Centre of Excellence, the CMO is dedicated to transforming, streamlining, and elevating our risk and compliance processes.
In the role of R&Q Compliance Specialist, you will help ensure PwC meets all regulatory and quality obligations. You’ll be instrumental in managing and supporting the internal systems and processes that uphold our R&Q standards, contributing directly to the firm’s commitment to integrity and excellence.
This is a fixed term contract.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing new client onboarding, including independence checks and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements
Supporting existing clients by maintaining and updating risk management records
Providing entity management support and ensuring high standards of data quality
Assisting with a range of risk-related activities as needed
Additional responsibilities where required:
Updating risk management and quality assurance approaches to reflect new legal or regulatory changes
Conducting quality reviews and identifying gaps or inconsistencies in compliance documentation
Acting as a key liaison between CMO teams and Engagement teams to ensure clarity and alignment on compliance expectations
Supporting the adoption and integration of global technologies or systems that impact risk and quality processes, ensuring smooth transitions
Performing other ad hoc tasks as required
Skills & Experience:
Prior experience in Compliance, Risk, or Anti-Money Laundering is advantageous
Strong interest in developing expertise within the Risk domain
Ability to follow structured workflows and uphold quality frameworks
Skilled at prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards
Solid understanding of compliance requirements, quality controls, and risk management principles
Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment and performing well under pressure
Effective collaborator who works seamlessly with cross-functional teams
Positive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to shared goals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and other IT systems
Confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the firm
