PwC’s Business Enablement Services (BES) Line of Service combines support teams from across the firm who play pivotal roles in enabling our business delivery. Our Compliance Middle Office is newly established and rapidly growing, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company's compliance and quality standards.
The CMO is a new Centre of Excellence aimed at processing, streamlining and enhancing our risk compliance activities.
As an R&Q Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that PwC adheres to all relevant regulatory and quality requirements. You will have a key role in operating and supporting the administration of internal systems and processes designed to ensure compliance with R&Q procedures within PwC.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
New Client Onboarding
Central Entity Services (CES) review and updates
Client Acceptance
Engagement Acceptance
Anti-Money Laundering procedures
Independence procedures incl. Authorisation for Services (AFS) where required
Additional risk activities as required
Additional responsibilities where required:
Adjust risk management and quality assurance strategies to comply with new legal and regulatory requirements.
Ability to perform quality checks and identify inconsistencies in compliance documentation
Act as a liaison between CMO teams and Engagement teams to ensure alignment and understanding of compliance requirements.
Embrace integration and adoption of globally rolled-out technologies or systems that affect risk and quality processes, ensuring seamless transitions.

Experience & Skills:
Keen interest in developing skills in Risk
Following structured workflows and ensuring adherence to quality frameworks
Prioritising tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Strong understanding of compliance standards, quality checks, and risk controls
Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment and working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising quality
Working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and efficiency
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and commitment to shared goals
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and succinctly to various stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications & IT systems
The ability to interact with various levels of firm management and staff.
