Risk Manager III, Artificial General Intellgence

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical to join our team to lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of our Responsible AI Product Policies. The Responsible AI Product team enables the Amazon Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) org to build and launch safe and responsible models and products. The Responsible AI Product Policy Manager role is responsible for the development and communication of the policies that ensure that AGI’s products uphold Amazon’s Reponsible AI pillars and Amazon Frontier Model Safety Framework. This is a highly cross-functional role collaborating closely with technical stakeholders building our Repsonsible AI systems, Security, Public Policy, and Legal in addition to external partners. This position has a high level of visibility, so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring business impact by diving deep into metrics and customer inputs. You should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic; you will work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. Key job responsibilities * Develop frameworks for risk identification across new capabilities, products, and use cases that require Responsible AI policies * Design policies to govern govern the responsible use of our models considering emerging capabilities, use cases, and modalities. Perform ongoing reviews of existing policies to identify and address gaps and ambiguities * Clearly communicate risks behind policies to internal stakeholder teams and to senior leadership to support understanding and consensus of product policy positions * Build collaborative relationships across product, science, Legal, PR, Public Policy, central governance teams, and teams as necessary to support policy development and management. * Develop deep expertise in how our Responsible AI systems work to effecitvely partner with technical team to implement and enforce policies * Keep up to date with new and existing AI policy standards and norms Basic Qualifications - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent - Master's degree or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
