As an Executive Director within the Risk Management and Compliance team, you will be at the forefront of risk management strategic initiatives, working closely to support the Global Private Bank Chief Risk Officer as an individual contributor. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, influence key decisions, and contribute to the growth, risk culture and resilience of our organization. Your expertise will help us navigate challenges and seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.  You will support the CRO in executing strategic initiatives and managing risk as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. 

Job Responsibilities:

Review and challenge new business initiatives and product offerings, identifying and mitigating risks as part of a robust change management programReview and challenge the material risk inventory Drive the Risk agenda and deliverables in alignment with strategic goalsParticipate in the review and assessment of regulatory expectations and legal obligations related to risk management and adherence to  internal policiesCollaborate with stakeholders to streamline and standardize key processesPrepare executive-level materials for Risk Leadership forums and committeesProvide and coordinate high-level responses to executive ad-hoc requestsDesign and implement risk management training programs for risk management and/or business partnersBuild strong relationships across the organization to support strategic initiativesFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in risk management

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

10 years of experience in strategy and project management within the banking industryStrong understanding of risk management principles and practices.Possess a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, adept at managing shifting prioritiesSelf-driven with a high degree of initiative, independence and accountability.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented, organized, and inquisitive.Ability to produce thorough, accurate, and timely work products.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Ability to engage diverse audiences, including business leaders and regulators.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and adept at managing shifting priorities.Experience in fostering a culture of excellent and innovation. Broad understanding of financial services support functions and products.Experience in presenting to Senior Management.High degree of initiative and ability to work well under pressure.

Experience in process streamlining through reporting, technology, and analytics.
