Risk Management - Reputation Risk - Vice President

As a Reputation Risk Vice President on the Commercial Bank and Investment (CIB) Reputation Risk Team, you will be part of a team that provides timely review of negative client/prospect matters (persons, transactions, industries) that must be assessed and cleared prior to transaction execution. Matters are wide-ranging and will include frequent engagement with CIB, Business Banking and Asset Wealth Management Reputation Risk Offices on cross Line of Business (LOB) issues. Our team members have broad exposure to senior management, bankers and risk professionals as well as wide-ranging topics/issues that provide frequent, new learning opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure timely execution of negative client/prospect information, often connected to live transactionsManage time-sensitive matters that involve numerous details linked to multiple transactions and industry situationsDevelop impactful, in-depth presentation decks for presentation to executive managementRepresent CIB Reputation Risk, firm-wide Reputation Risk forums and New Business Initiative meetings and to provide thoughtful assessments and points of view on reputation risk matters

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of experience within financial services and focus in risk management, controls, compliance or legal Strong research, data mining/management and analytical skills Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint skillsStrong, clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communicationsHigh comfort in leading discussions, executing for closure and ensuring strong second line reviewExcellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships given the extensive interaction with bankers, risk and control professionals both within Commercial Banking and across other Lines of Business (LOBs), including firmwide functionsExcellent organizational and project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlinesIntellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quicklyAbility to pivot across a broad range of diverse topics and issues in a given dayHigh degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to work well under pressure
