As a Debit and ATM Product Risk Manager within Risk Management and Compliance, you will challenge product teams by applying a risk-focused perspective and escalating key topics to senior leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to assess and mitigate risks in deposit products and related services. Your role empowers you to influence product development while maintaining independence and objectivity. Job Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of deposit product features, functionality, and related servicesDeliver risk assessments and credible challenge in partnership with cross-functional teamsMeet regularly with product development partners to advise and maintain independenceIdentify strategic, liquidity, operational, and reputational risks in emerging products and servicesEvaluate new concepts or modifications to ensure risks are identified and controlledApply bank policy and external regulations, escalating issues to Compliance and Legal partnersRepresent the interests of internal stakeholders in risk managementStay informed on marketplace changes, including technology, products, and threatsDeconstruct and explain complex concepts to senior and executive managementRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree At least 5 years of experience in financial services, consulting, technology, or related fieldExperience with digital or mobile banking, payments, or emerging technologiesFamiliarity with agile development methodologyStrong critical thinking skillsAbility to defend positions using quantitative analysis with analytical teamsEffective collaboration with business and technical individualsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong emotional intelligence and influencing skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with process engineering and root cause analysis
