As an Analyst in the Counterparty Risk: Central Counterparty (CCP) Credit Risk Team, you will manage a portfolio of CCPs within the Americas region. You will play a crucial role in credit risk management, partnering with business units across Trading, Payments, and Banking, and liaising with external constituents to address CCP risk concerns. Your work will directly impact the firm's credit risk strategy and contribute to the wider financial community.
Job Responsibilities
Credit risk coverage of Financial Market Infrastructure sector including CCPs, and their group entities.Implement all facets of credit analysis, including due diligence, financial analysis, credit approval memos, and reviews.Develop a comprehensive understanding of CCP risk through relevant internal policies, CCP disclosures, industry documentation, and regulatory requirements.Manage a portfolio of CCPs on an ongoing basis with the ability to:Participate in transactions/business requests and facilitate approval of credit actions.Track and recommend advocacy efforts for addressing risk issues at CCP under coverage.Contribute to team-wide projects such as portfolio benchmarking, risk presentations, framework enhancements, and other time-sensitive requests.Build and maintain relationships with internal business stakeholders including Markets, Banking, Legal, and Ops.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.Familiarity with global financial markets and a good understanding of market and credit risk measurement concepts.Foundational understanding of quantitative and statistical analysis concepts.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm for client interactions, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Knowledge of central clearing and its regulatory developments, as well as derivatives products.Knowledge of accounting and analysis of financial statements.Intellectual curiosity to work with LLM and programming/data tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau.
