As a Program Lead for Strategic Legal and Regulatory Change Management Programs within the Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects that ensure the organization’s adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to identify risks, manage resources, and drive process improvements, all while maintaining a strong focus on business value realization. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the RM&C department’s functions and objectives, as well as the Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) and Legal & Regulatory Change Management (LRCM) programs. Leveraging this knowledge, you will manage projects that support the organization’s risk management strategies and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple large-scale projects, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to scope, and realization of strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, training coverage, and operational process updates.Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain the project RAID log and escalate critical issues to senior management with actionable mitigation strategies. Partner with cross-functional teams—including OLO, LRCM, and Technology—to ensure alignment and provide transparent, regular status reporting.Collaborate with BAU teams to assess the impact and benefits of proposed changes. Develop and execute communication and training plans to drive smooth adoption and organizational readiness. Effectively allocate and manage resources to ensure project success. Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance, collaborative environment. Manage and document all changes to project scope and schedules using established verification techniques to prevent scope creep.Contribute to the PMO Center of Excellence by evaluating methodologies, implementing best practices, and enhancing organizational project delivery standards.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
Bachelor’s degree required.Minimum 8 years of experience in Risk Management & Compliance, Legal, or similar regulatory roles within financial services.Proven track record leading large, complex, and global programs independently, delivering results.Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple workstreams and deliverables.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and achieve consensus among diverse stakeholders, including senior executives.Executive presence and confidence representing the program and department at all organizational levels.Strategic thinker with a critical mindset, able to challenge the status quo and deliver innovative solutions.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex issues while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).Strong people management experience, with a proven ability to develop talent, build high-performing teams, and drive diversity, equity, and inclusion.Highly adaptable interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strategic stakeholder relationships across business and functional areas.

Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.Experience designing business requirements and driving technology enhancements in partnership with product and technology teams.Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus.Experience in the design and implementation of GenAI solutions is a plus.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices in risk management and compliance.
