Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Engineer to join our team!
The Risk Engineer provides senior technical and analytical expertise to support the
implementation of the program’s Risk Management Framework across multiple
projects. The role focuses on quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, modelling, data
integrity, and structured reporting to support informed decision-making at project and
program levels, in accordance with established governance and approval processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Facilitate and support risk identification workshops and periodic risk reviewsthroughout the project lifecycle in accordance with approved methodologies.Perform advanced qualitative and quantitative risk analysis on project and
program risks, including statistical analysis and modelling.Support the integration of risk and uncertainty into project cost and schedule
assessments.Conduct schedule and cost risk analysis using recognized tools and techniques,
including Monte Carlo simulation.Monitor emerging risks and risk trends, providing technical analysis and
recommendations in line with established escalation processes.Prepare structured risk reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for various
organizational levels, including executive reporting.Support program-level and cross-project risk consolidation, trend analysis, and
lessons learned.Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date risk registers, issues iogs, and
lessons learned registers.Ensure data quality, traceability, and integrity of risk information across risk
management systems and tools.Coordinate with relevant teams to support the effective use and maintenance of
risk management software and repositories.Provide technical input to constructability reviews, schedule critical reviews, and
cost uncertainty assessments from a risk management perspective.Contribute to the development of risk management training materials and
support risk awareness initiatives when required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.15 years of experience in a projects oriented environment performing Risk ManagementStrong experience in risk planning, risk assessment workshops, risk analysis, and risk monitoring.Demonstrated capability in quantitative risk analysis, including cost and schedule risk modelling.Experience using risk and scheduling tools such as Safran Risk, or equivalent.Professional certification such as PMI-RMP or equivalent is highly desired.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly present technical findings and recommendations.Solid understanding of construction management fundamentals, project scheduling, cost estimating, and project controls.Ability to work effectively within a structured governance framework and across multiple stakeholders.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
