**Job Summary**
The Risk & Compliance Professional position is responsible for ensuring compliance with the enterprise and business division's ethical standards and examines any non-compliance issues, including the evaluation and examination of the adequacy of internal controls. It supports the business process development, improvement, and ongoing support of Caterpillar’s Enterprise Compliance Program within the Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division. The role will help the business units to mitigate the risks of fraud and other non-compliance in alignment with corporate objectives. The position will report to the Marine & Medium Speed Engine Risk & Compliance Manager.
**What You Will Do**
+ Designing and implementing daily procedures and reviewing/assessing activities against internal control standards.
+ Directing and participating in the risk and compliance education of the organization, ensuring ongoing and follow up education including regulations, policies, procedures and trends.
+ Developing, initiating and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the business unit's compliance program and its related activities.
+ Identifying potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; developing corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and providing guidance for use in future situations.
**What You Will Have**
**Risk Management:** Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
**Issues Management and Remediation:** Knowledge of techniques and processes for issues management and remediation; ability to identify any error or fault, and correcting them in a timely manner.
**Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
**Relationship Management:** Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
**Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
**Process Management:** Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Business, Logistics or a related field.

**Additional Information**
+ Business travel required: about 10%.
+ This position requires **working onsite five days a week** .
