The Manager Risk & Compliance position is responsible for leading the business process development, improvement, and ongoing support of Caterpillar’s Enterprise Compliance Program within SPM Oil & Gas. SPM Oil & Gas, A Caterpillar Company, is headquartered near Fort Worth, Texas and produces a full line of pumps, flow iron, consumable parts, wellhead and pressure control products that are offered through a global network of service centers. The role will manage and provide centralized business resources for business operations to mitigate the risks of fraud and other non-compliance in alignment with corporate objectives. The supervisory position will report to Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division Manager Risk & Compliance.
What You Will Do:
Developing and implementing strategies for all activities relating to one or more business units regarding compliant business conduct and ethical relationship standards.Overseeing development of relevant programs to ensure compliance and reduce risk.Providing advice and interpretation of Our Values In Action, including corporate policies and procedures to assigned business unit or units.Identifying potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; developing corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and providing guidance for use in future situations.What You Have:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Business, Logistics or a related field; 5+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience and ability to perform complex assignments. Business Ethics: Knowledge of practices, behaviors, applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing proper business conduct; ability to demonstrate ethical behavior in diverse situations.Issues Management and Remediation: Knowledge of techniques and processes for issues management and remediation; ability to identify any error or fault, and correcting them in a timely manner.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.What Will Set You Apart:
Trade compliance experience in an exports/customs environmentStrong understanding of Caterpillar’s Ethics & Compliance Program, Our Values in Action, and the Enterprise Policies and ProceduresStrong background in risk management and compliancePrior supervisory experienceAdditional Information:
Location: SPM’s Headquarters in Ft. Worth, TX - 5 days in officeRequired Travel: 10% or lessDomestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
