As a part of the Risk Architecture team you will participate in data reconnaissance and exploratory work locating valuable information in data, run analyses to transform and enrich the data, and construct the usable data into an optimally designed data product. You get to participate in the development and optimization of Customer Analytical Data products, including: conceptual, logical, physical and semantic design, testing, performance tuning, maintaining the metadata and lineage reports, and hand off to operational support teams. You will also lead the UAT efforts in out cloud journey(AWS) and DataBricks(DBX).
Job Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to develop requirements for creating new attributesConduct requirement grooming sessions with the development teamsDevelop and execute UAT test casesWork with the Data Review Board to get attributes certifiedResearch and remediate data issues in the existing attributesCreate metadata and lineage reports
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and skills:
Expert in SQL with experience in Unix and Hadoop/HiveExpert in developing process flows and documenting metadataExperience in developing web interfaces (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)Experience in understanding and following the Agile methodologyExperience with AWS tools (AAAS and Data Bricks preferred)Experience with Data Quality monitoring and reconciliation processesDegree in a quantitative field: Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Computing and Information Theory, Industrial / Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalentExperience managing the performance of a high impact team of product analysts
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
AWS practitioner CertificationKnowledge of banking data and conceptsComfortable manipulating and summarizing large quantities of dataAbility to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
