Job Title: Rigger

Job Description

As a Rigger, you will play a crucial role in safely lifting, positioning, and placing machinery, equipment, or other large objects at job sites or facilities. You will ensure the stability of loads to prevent capsizing and operate cranes effectively.

ResponsibilitiesLift, position, and place machinery, equipment, or other large objects at job sites or facilities.Place blocks and outriggers to stabilize loads and prevent capsizing during heavy lifting.Operate levers and pedals to rotate the crane on its chassis, and raise or lower the crane boom and load-line.Essential SkillsExperience with rigging, construction, and hydraulics.Proficiency with hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrefer NCCCO certification, or experience in rigging for construction.Work Environment

The position is based at the Windsor plant, with a combination of indoor and outdoor work. The work schedule consists of a 50-hour work week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
