Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development/Sales Engineer/Account Manager to join our team and drive growth in the RF & Optical Semiconductor markets within the Aerospace and Defense sectors. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge of RF components and system-level sales, as well as a strategic mindset to engage with large accounts and identify new business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience in RF & Optical Semiconductor sales with direct customer engagement. Proven background in selling RF systems and securing multi-million dollar deals Hunter mentality with the ability to pursue new business opportunities aggressively. Experience in RF and optical technologies used in aerospace and defense applications. Must be a U.S. citizen or ITAR compliance Greencard holder Ability to travel within the assigned territory An engineering degree is preferred; strong technical acumen is required Demonstrated ability to qualify leads independently without heavy engineering support. Familiarity with defense appropriations, program funding, and an understanding of how government budgets translate into opportunities Long-term growth mindset with a desire to build a career within the company; potential for advancement into senior leadership roles based on performance and contributions.Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic RF and optical accounts in the aerospace and defense sectors. Develop and execute account strategies that align with customer roadmaps and company growth initiatives. Identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities with a focus on expanding the RF pallet product line. Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements. Lead proposal efforts and contract negotiations for multimillion-dollar opportunities. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies as needed. Build relationships with key stakeholders in the government and defense sectors to uncover funding pathways and strategic opportunities.
