Rework Technician
**J** **ob Title: Rework Technician-** **$19/HR-$22/HR** **Job Description** The Repair Technician plays a crucial role in assisting with the repair of electro-mechanical products. This position requires the technician to perform basic repairs independently while supporting engineering teams on more complex tasks. Operating under limited supervision, the technician is expected to be fully versed in the general and detailed aspects of the role. **Responsibilities** + Set up, operate, and maintain workstations for testing, calibration, and repair of products. + Perform soldering and rework on PCBs. + Use microscopes to inspect parts and assemble components. + Analyze blueprints and schematics. + Perform basic repairs and assist with complex repairs under engineering guidance. + Collaborate with Engineering to support product design improvements from a test and repair perspective. + Ensure timely delivery of repaired units while maintaining quality standards. + Adhere strictly to safety protocols and ESD (Electro-static Discharge) controls. + Complete repair documentation using Tempo Communications repair codes. + Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or team lead. + Maintain a clean and organized workstation. **Essential Skills** + Rework experience on electrical products. + PCB Soldering. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Electronic assembly. + Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology). The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
