**Job Title: Rework Specialist**
**Job Description**
As a Rework Specialist, you will play a critical role in assembling, reworking, and reassembling products based on precise documentation. You will verify the accuracy of instruction documents and ensure work meets quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and verification. Collaboration with supervisors and leads is essential to address work-related challenges or product discrepancies. Recording test data and results is a key responsibility, alongside training others in testing and inspection processes. Additionally, you will assist the Team Lead with planning, inventory control, and product movement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, rework, and reassemble products as specified in documentation.
+ Verify accuracy of instruction documents.
+ Check work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
+ Collaborate with supervisor or lead to address work-related problems or product discrepancies.
+ Record test data and results.
+ Train others in testing and inspection processes.
+ Assist Team Lead with planning, inventory control, and product movement.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with production, soldering, and assembly.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and reading blueprints.
+ Mechanical aptitude and computer operation skills.
+ Ability to perform fine pitch soldering and electronic assembly.
+ Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity, particularly with small parts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Interest in electronics and PCB assembly.
+ Strong communication skills, particularly in articulating interest and willingness to learn soldering.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ High attention to detail.
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes a brand-new state-of-the-art manufacturing floor built in 2018. The dress code is manufacturing casual, with HME coats and glasses provided. First shift starts at 5am, while second shift runs from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The break room is equipped with multiple microwaves, refrigerators, and self-serve kiosks offering sandwiches, instant meals, snacks, and drinks. Employees can enjoy both inside and outside seating areas with multiple TVs on the floor.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.90 - $25.19/hr.
