**Job Title: Rework Grinder** **Job Description** As a Rework Grinder, you will grind and blend defect areas on castings and blend welds to meet blueprint tolerances. Your role involves reviewing x-ray/inspection paperwork, sketches, and blueprints to determine the grinding requirements. The environment involves exposure to noise, dust, and fumes, with grinding performed in a ventilated booth. Expect loud, dusty conditions with potential temperature extremes and physical fatigue, especially in the forearms and hands. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday with day, swing, and night options, and candidates must be open to training on the day shift for two months. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.70 - $24.70/hr.
