Job Title: Rewinder Operator

Job Description

The Rewinder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring rewinder machinery and equipment to meet customer and production goals.

Shift: 7AM-7PM 2,2,3

Pay: $19-$20 based on experience

Responsibilities

Complete rewinder machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.Monitor the production process, inspect and test materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas.Verify and track all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain efficient machinery operation.Train and provide guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.Maintain organization and cleanliness of machinery and surrounding areas by adhering to housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.

Essential Skills

Experience in printing and operating rewinder machinery.Skill in machine setup, troubleshooting, changeovers, and quality checks.Strong attention to detail.Must have industrial machine operating experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Rewinder experience is highly preferred.Certification in plant machinery operation may be required.Ability to work around moving equipment and routinely use standard office equipment.Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment where hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection, and other necessary PPE are required. May be exposed to non-toxic smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels, and hot/humid conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
