Mitie is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to help protect people, property, and assets at B&Q Belfast. If you're alert, responsible, and take pride in keeping environments safe and secure, this is a role where you can make a real difference every day.

What You'll Do

Security Operations

Provide a professional, visible security presence on site

Follow site Assignment Instructions to deliver a high-quality service

Protect customers, staff, and property from loss or harm

Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents effectively

Complete accurate incident and notebook reports

Liaise with emergency services when required

Maintain compliance with UK laws, site procedures, and Mitie policies

Health & Safety

Identify and report hazards promptly

Stay alert to changing situations and act proactively

Handle challenging situations with professionalism and calm judgement

Training & Development

Complete all required security and site training

Keep your SIA licence valid and up to date

Access additional training to support your career growth

What We're Looking For

Previous security experience

Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)

Strong awareness and communication skills

SC Clearance desirable but not essential
