Retail Experience Lead
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and consumer-obsessed leader to join the North America Retail Experiences Team as the Lead for Retail Experience. This role is critical in shaping and elevating the holistic retail experience across partner environments—with a focus on Foot Locker—ensuring consumers experience exceptional service, storytelling, and brand engagement. This individual will work at the intersection of retail experience, brand storytelling, partner management, and cross-functional alignment, acting as a strategic thought partner to leadership and a key collaborator across the consumer experience ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Retail & Consumer Experience Leadership: Develop and execute strategies that elevate the retail and consumer experience across partner locations. Drive alignment between brand priorities, seasonal storytelling, and partner execution requirements. Partner with the Consumer Experience group to ensure consistency in brand voice and storytelling across FL and other partners. Ensure associates have the right tools, education, and incentives to deliver an elevated experience. Identify retail experience gaps (e.g., missing seasonal tools, tech sheets) and lead solutions such as photo shoots or content creation. Foot Locker Partnership Focus: Act as a key partner to Foot Locker, helping build best‑in‑class storytelling, brand voice, and seasonal execution. Support associate training modules and understand how training content will integrate into FL systems. Track seasonal priorities and partner readiness, proactively identifying gaps in tools or content. Serve as a strategic collaborator to ensure FL achieves its status as a major priority for Nike. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Retail, Marketing, FL Sales, Planning, Supply Chain, Brand Management (Kids, Sportswear, Basketball), Visual Merchandising, and Retail Marketing teams. Coordinate creative reviews, agency feedback, and alignment cycles—balancing Nike’s strong creative POV with partner needs. Support sales and marketing teammates by helping sell seasonal stories into partners and align buy plans. Program Management & Operational Execution: Oversee the performance of retail programs and consumer-centric initiatives using data, insights, and KPIs. Manage workflows, pass-through information, and initiative tracking via tools such as Airtable and presentation platforms (Keynote). Support retail installations through site supervision, brand execution reviews, and cross-functional handoffs. Participate in 1–2 monthly trips for photo shoots, commercial gates, retail installs, or sales meetings. Consumer & Cultural Insight: Leverage existing bodies of consumer research to understand how consumers shop at FL and other partners. Apply market, cultural, and sport trends—particularly basketball and sneaker culture—to experience and storytelling strategies. Understand consumer behaviors, needs, and journeys to inform experience improvements. Skills and Requirements - Experience in retail experience development, consumer experience, or brand-led retail strategy. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, influence, and motivate teams. - Excellent relationship-building skills and comfort working with high-pressure partner environments. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with a natural commercial charisma and service-oriented attitude. - Ability to think creatively, strategically, and analytically. - Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and translating insights into action. - Experience with associate tools, education platforms, and incentive systems. - Experience collaborating with FL, DSG, or similar retailers strongly preferred. - Familiarity with basketball and sneaker culture, athletes, and consumer motivations. - Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, SketchUp, or similar tools for reviewing creative files and marking up agency work. - Experience working with consumer insights analytics or research bodies. - Ability to assist in creative reviews and provide structured feedback during the creative cycle.
