**Job Title: Restoration Technician** **Job Description**
Join a local restoration company dedicated to restoring properties damaged by water, wind, or fire. As a Restoration Technician, you will be part of a skilled team working on job site clean-up and restoration projects. This role requires experience with hand and power tools and prefers candidates with previous restoration experience.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist with job site clean-up and restoration for properties affected by water, wind, or fire damage.
+ Work with a crew of 2 to 3 individuals on residential and commercial projects.
+ Perform tasks such as cutting walls, carrying equipment, drywall finishing, and water mitigation.
+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively in restoration processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in restoration, carpentry, construction, or remodeling.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to perform general labor tasks, including using a tape measure and cleaning.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Restoration experience is highly preferred.
+ Certifications such as ASD, WRT, AMRT, FRST, IICRC, ABRA are advantageous.

**Work Environment**
Work takes place in damaged residential or commercial properties, often in dusty, damp, and dirty conditions. The role requires comfort with tight spaces. The work attire includes jeans, steel-toed boots, high-visibility shirts, hard hats, gloves, and eye protection. Occasionally, a full hazmat suit and respirator may be necessary. Work hours are from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a requirement to be at the shop by 7:45am. Expect a commute of 30 minutes to an hour to project sites, working 40+ hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chambersburg, PA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $44000.00/yr.
