BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
Create a relaxed destination – Promote Tommy Bahama as a special events destination in partnership with the Executive ChefSet the course – Provide timely direction and supervision of event logistics to restaurant team members responsible for group/event execution, developing and maintaining timely group/event communication with respective partnersBuild the perfect oasis – Negotiate and manage group/event Guest relationships through accurate drafting of proposals and contracts, responding to inquiries, as well as facilitating arrangements as they relate to the group/eventSupport your crew – Partner with Retail general manager to identify cross-promotional retail opportunities for group/event dining guestsProactive in Paradise – Seek out Marketing opportunities within the community and partner with Retail to leverage the Retail/Restaurant relationship during marketing and sales eventsESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
You have 4+ years of high volume restaurant/ sales experienceYou have 4+ years of hospitality related experienceYou have a current food handler’s card and other certification as required by federal/state/local lawYou have strong knowledge of food and beverage menu - including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentationYou have strong verbal and written communications skills and is able to communicate operational information - proven track record of increasing experience and responsibilityYou are comfortable using a computer, navigating Windows and Microsoft Office, Point of Sale System and Outlook EmailYou have a high school diploma or GEDWillingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the businessMahalo (thank you) for your interest in Tommy Bahama!
