Overview We are seeking aRespiratory Therapy Supervisor,sometimes referred to as a Lead Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Therapist Supervisor. The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is the bridge between bedside care and department leadership. Respiratory Supervisor will still think clinically, but a big chunk of their job is making sure the whole respiratory service runs smoothly and safely. Shifts Available:Days(Normally Monday through Friday) Employment Type:Full-time Hours:8-hour shifts –7:30am to 3:30pm Location:Providence Medical Center – Kansas City, KS Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: + Health, dental, and vision insurance options + Paid vacation, sick time and holidays + Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options + Employer 401K options + Tuition reimbursement options + Life, disability, and other insurance options + Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): + Oversee respiratory care delivery across all patient care units, and inpatient floors, ensuring high-quality and timely services + Provide clinical leadership for complex and high-risk cases, including ventilator management, rapid responses, and code situations + Supervise, mentors, and evaluates respiratory therapy staff; manages staffing assignments, scheduling, call coverage, and onboarding as needed + Ensure compliance with hospital policies, evidence-based practices, and regulatory standards (Joint Commission, state licensure) + Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives; monitor documentation accuracy and investigate respiratory-related incidents or events + Coordinate respiratory services with physicians, nursing leadership, and administration; manage equipment, resources, and coverage during high-volume or emergency situations Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
