You’ll support a collaborative team of RTs while maintaining hands-on patient care, complex case management, and operational oversight. Key highlights: - Leadership responsibility over a team of 3 Respiratory Therapists - Regional coverage: Mountville, York, Camp Hill & Hershey - Predictable on-call rotation and standard daytime schedule - Mileage, tolls, and parking fully reimbursed - Supportive, collaborative environment where every voice is valued - Opportunity to train staff and implement new respiratory care technologies **_ABOUT THE ROLE_** As the Respiratory Therapist Lead, you will provide high-quality respiratory care, troubleshoot equipment, educate patients and families, and ensure exceptional service delivery across multiple branches. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will lead scheduling, oversee patient care coverage, support team development, and collaborate with cross-functional departments and leadership teams. Work Arrangement: On-site Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM On-Call: Alternates one weekday per RT and one weekend per month Travel: Required between assigned branches. Our mission is to enhance lives through exceptional care, innovative solutions, and a people-first culture. **_PAY & BENEFITS_** Hourly Range: $36–$40/hr Benefits include medical, dental, vision (day one), 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement, and more. **_ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES_** Clinical & Patient Care: - Perform respiratory equipment set-ups, patient assessments, and complex case management - Educate patients and families on equipment operation and respiratory care procedures - Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure proper operating condition - Conduct follow-up visits and clinical evaluations based on patient needs Leadership & Oversight: - Create and manage on-call schedules and patient care coverage - Provide mentorship and support to staff RTs - Serve as trainer for new technologies, equipment, and clinical protocols - Champion quality improvement and workflow standardization Collaboration & Operations: - Work with branch leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations - Coordinate with referring physicians and healthcare partners - Maintain accurate patient records and equipment documentation - Support patient scheduling and operational processes **_QUALIFICATIONS_** RT Certification required (NBRC) Current RCP license in Pennsylvania Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Home care experience strongly preferred Leadership experience a strong plus Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and CPR certification **_Top Skills:_** - Teamwork & collaboration - Communication & customer service - Empathy & patient-centered mindset - Leadership & coaching abilities - Hands-on, proactive, flexible - High accountability and drive **Teammate Benefits** As an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
