Job Duties Clinical

Respond to emergency situations and complete required documentationProvide backup as Shift Leader and/or Rehab Tech duties as neededAddress patient issues ( Assessments, direct patient care, special tracking log)Ensure communication of specific concerns regarding patient safety or healthMonitor and assist with dispensing of medications , as neededProvide patient/care-giver education for medical conditions and medicationsCommunicate with On Call or/or physicians/office nurse , as neededModel, teach and mentor the Rehabilitation Technicians on the Pate Core Values and Customer Service Quality StandardsReview and update as needed MAR's, PRN lists, and/or procedure recordsMonitor patients vital signs, weights, hydration, output, food, intake, labs, blood sugar, responsiveness, skin integrity, etc, to ensure medical stability Responsibilities Supervise, educate, and develop Shift Leaders and Residential staffEnsure timely and thorough documentation of care provided within the facilityProvide exceptional customer service, including patient/caregiver education and communication with patient care teamEnsure adequate supplies are available for all facility staffMaintain a working knowledge of standards and regulations for THHSC, CARF, CRS, and CDC Other duties as assigned by location Qualifications Supervisory experience preferred, but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredMust pass all pre-employment and employment verifications About our Line of Business Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, provides evidence-based physical, occupational, speech/language, and neurocognitive therapies, as well as vocational rehabilitation, to advance and accelerate patient recovery – helping individuals suffering from an acquired brain injury return to a high quality of life.
