Location: Grimes, IA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $18–$28/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview: Currently seeking candidates to join our well-established building materials and construction company in Grimes, Iowa. This role involves working on residential projects, including framing, trim work, remodeling, and installation of custom features such as doors and windows. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform residential carpentry tasks including framing, trim, and finish workInstall doors, windows, cabinetry, and other interior/exterior componentsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyMaintain a clean and organized work areaCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlinesEnsure all work meets quality and safety standardsQualifications1–3 years of residential carpentry experience preferredFamiliarity with tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and measuring instrumentsAbility to read and follow construction plansStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipReliable transportation to and from job sitesAbility to lift up to 50 lbsMust pass back ground check and drug screeningWhat We OfferSteady, year-round workOpportunities for advancement within the companySupportive team environmentPaid time off and benefitsReferral program and performance incentives

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
