**Job Title:** Research Laboratory Technologist **Location:** Calgary, AB Our client is seeking a Research Laboratory Technologist to join their team. As a Research Laboratory Technologist, you will be part of the Analytical Testing Services team supporting various innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Description:** + Prepare and test samples following established Laboratory Test Procedures (LTPs). + Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using appropriate technical equipment and instrumentation. + Process and analyze data, generate analytical reports, and report results using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). + Support method development projects and update LTPs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Provide extensive client support on analytical tests and techniques to ensure proper understanding of data interpretation. **Qualifications:** + A Diploma in Chemical Laboratory Technology or B.Sc. in Chemistry with 5+ years of related experience. + Experience working with potentially hazardous materials and advanced chromatography techniques. + Strong analytical and numerical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. + Hands-on experience as an Analytical Chemist in an industrial or service laboratory setting. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work across various labs and innovation sites. + Engagement in method development and analytical testing of new polyethylene products. + Collaboration with a diverse team of professionals in a supportive environment. + Chance to enhance your skills in advanced analytical techniques. + Participation in maintaining high safety and quality standards in laboratory practices.
