Location: Labman HQ, Stokesley, North Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 BASED ON EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:
Designing & creating novel electromechanical devices from scratchRapid prototyping and testing your ideasCollaborating with a team of engineers who live and breathe innovationExploring emerging tech like AI, machine vision, and generative designTurning concepts into working prototypes that push boundariesDeveloping the next generation of cutting edge products to add to our growing portfolioWhat You’ll Need:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar3+ years in R&D, automation, robotics, or product developmentSolid foundation in mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, or automation engineeringCAD wizardry (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)Hands-on experience with prototyping, 3D printing, electronics, and workshop toolsUnderstanding of a wide range of manufacturing processes and design suitability for eachKnowledge of robotics systems, motion control, PLCs, and embedded systemsExcellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skillsDesirable Skills:
A portfolio of personal projects that show off your engineering creativityFamiliarity with machine vision, AI/ML, or automation platformsExperience in lab automation, medical devices, or industrial roboticsExposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 9001, Machinery regs)Company Benefits:
