**About The Role:**
As a Research & Data Intelligence Analyst at CBRE, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial real estate research function through high-quality data analysis, market intelligence, and automation initiatives. This hybrid role blends traditional market research responsibilities with data-driven innovation, empowering teams with actionable insights and efficient tools.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Collect, analyze, and maintain commercial real estate data for the San Diego/Hawaii Regions
+ Ensure data accuracy and integrity through quality control processes and best practices.
+ Apply CBRE’s proprietary research database to monitor and enhance data quality.
+ Build and maintain datasets, including a new tenancy dataset for San Diego office buildings.
+ Support the development of automation tools and data enhancements in collaboration with the Data Intelligence Senior Analyst.
+ Assist in the creation of standard and custom research deliverables for internal and external collaborators.
+ Collaborate with brokers, sales, marketing, and business development teams on pitches and strategic projects.
+ Research and track market activity including new listings, transactions, tenants, and developments.
+ Present findings in a clear, professional manner using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

+ Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Real Estate, Economics, City Planning, Finance, Business Analytics).
+ Possess 0–4 years of experience in commercial real estate, data analysis, or market research.
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, weighted averages, and perform basic financial analysis.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas; Power Query is a plus).
+ Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
+ Familiarity with programming tools such as Python, SQL, or R, and/or BI tools like Tableau.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Knowledge of real estate terminology and market dynamics preferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Research & Data Intelligence Analyst position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Research & Data Intelligence Analyst position is $68,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
