Job Summary
The Department of Behavioral Sciences seeks a Temporary Research Assistant to support faculty-led anthropological research projects, including ongoing research in metropolitan Detroit. This position is well suited for a student or recent graduate with training in anthropology or a related field who is interested in qualitative and community-based research.

Work Schedule
2-10 hours per weekSchedule is flexible and will be arranged in coordination with the supervising faculty memberRequired Qualifications*Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or a closely related fieldStrong writing, organizational, and analytical skillsFamiliarity with qualitative or ethnographic research methodsAbility to work independently and manage tasks responsiblyDesired Qualifications*Prior experience with ethnographic or community-based researchInterest in urban, migration, or community studiesExperience with academic writing or grant preparationModes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
