Minimum Qualifications **Minimum Qualifications** **Research Assistant I** Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Limnology, or closely related field. **Research Assistant II** Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Limnology, or closely related discipline plus 2 years of experience relevant to the position. **Research AssistantIII** Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Limnology, or closely related discipline plus 4 years of experience relevant to the position. **Research Associate I** Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Limnology, or closely related at the time employment begins; no experience required. **Research Associate II** Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Limnology, or closely related discipline plus 2 years of experience relevant to the position. **Substitutions Allowed for Experience:** _When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience._ Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications **Minimum Skills and Abilities** Knowledge/experience with lab water quality analyses, such as analytical chemistry tools like GC-MS, and molecular analyses, such as qPCR. **Minimum Technology Skills** Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite. **Minimum License and Certifications** Desired Qualifications **Desired Qualifications** Prior coursework in limnology and statistics desired.
