DEPARTMENT ADDENDUM
Department Specific Functions
This is a joint position between the Abdulreda and Buchwald labs at the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI). The person in this position will be required to train in all aspects of the research ongoing in the labs. This person will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of the mouse colony, including the daily monitoring of mice enrolled or not enrolled in studies, such as pancreatic islet transplantation. This person will also assist in the transplantations, in vivo imaging of transplanted mice, data analyses, immunostaining in tissue sections, and other research activities as needed.
